About

Built inside the problem.
Not from a whiteboard.

Unogrid started in a payroll department, watching the same biweekly cycle force the same manual cross-platform copy-paste over and over. The fix should have existed years ago. It didn't. So we built it.

The thesis

Spreadsheet software is fragmented by design. Microsoft and Google both want you locked into their ecosystem. Apple ships Numbers free with every Mac. Mid-market finance, payroll, and HR teams use all three because the people on those teams use all three. No vendor wants to fix this.

The cross-platform sync problem is invisible at scale. It shows up as four hours a month per analyst, multiplied across thousands of teams. It's the kind of pain that's too embedded to complain about and too distributed to enterprise tools to bother with.

The opening

SMEs are the fastest-growing segment in business software at 13.9% CAGR. They can't afford SAP or Workday. They run on Excel and Google Sheets, and they keep running on Excel and Google Sheets even after they grow.

That's the wedge. We don't replace the spreadsheet. We make it work across platforms the way teams already use it.

Principles

How we build.

Three commitments to the teams who'll use this product.

Meet teams where they are

No file migration. No "switch to our platform." Unogrid works with the spreadsheets your team already uses, in the tools they already chose.

Surface conflicts honestly

When two people edit the same cell, you should know. We never silently overwrite, never resolve quietly. Every conflict surfaces with a clear choice and a logged decision.

Audit-ready by default

If you can't prove what changed, when, and by whom, your finance ops fail their first audit. We treat the change log as a first-class feature, not an afterthought.
